Swimwear Trends For Your 2017 Spring Break

The swimsuits you will be doing the least amount of swimming in

With the semester more than half way done, we’re all in need of some much deserved relaxation and a little TLC. If you’re escaping the icy tundra to a more tropical climate for Spring Break and want to look hot without breaking the bank, Jerk’s got you covered (or rather, uncovered). We’ve scoured the web for this year’s hottest swim trends and found the season’s best deals (so you won’t have to forgo your weekly Chipotle or sacrifice a late-night Calio’s run). All you have to do now is sit back, relax, and let your stress melt away (until finals, that is).

I Need a One Piece

One pieces have been dominating as some of the most covetable swim wear this season. They can be sexy without being too revealing so if you’re looking for more of an understated appearance, this style’s the one for you. There are a lot of possibilities for one pieces, like these retro high leg ones from Victoria’s Secret or this cute cut-out option in a dusty rose from Forever 21. Plus, one pieces come in a ton of different cuts and silhouettes, so you’re bound to find something flattering for your body type. Right now you can also get them in pretty much any color or pattern or with a cute slogan, so wearing one will definitely make for some Instagram-worthy pics. Get Bathing Suit 1, Bathing Suit 2, Bathing Suit 3

I Like us Better When We’re High (Waisted)

Transition your love of high-waisted jeans from the streets to the beach with a pair of high-waisted bikini bottoms. Why wear a regular bikini when you can look retro chic in a high-waisted one? They’re super flattering, so comfortable and—like a one piece—a more subtle sexy option. These super simple ones from Pacsun come in a variety of solid color options so you can easily mix and match them with your favorite bikini tops, and, at under $20, they’re a major steal. Feeling more daring? Try out these crazy rainbow chevron ones with a super cute crisscross lace-up detail on the sides. We’ll all want to get high (waisted!) this spring break. Get Look 1, Get Look 2

Crochet Bae:

We’ve got a huge crush on crochet swimwear for the spring, and it’s definitely a major key to looking fun and flirty on the beach. Not only is this peach bikini from Forever 21 inexpensive, but it’s also flattering on a lot of different skin tones and the shell detailing is a super cute added feature. Not feeling a two-piece? This mono-kini from American Eagle is another option that’ll definitely make a statement. The off-white color is classic and the lattice pattern is super sweet and girly. Crochet suits give off a retro vibe. Wear one with an oversized button-down shirt as a cover-up and top it off your favorite pair of sunglasses to give off major movie star vibes. Get Look 1Look 2
