The New Generation of Nepotism

We’re all pretty familiar with the term nepotism, or as we at Jerk see it, having your entire life set up because of your mommy and/or daddy’s accomplishments. It’s actually quite awesome for all parties involved (don’t lie, we all wouldn’t mind being nepo babies), but some may say these children didn’t work hard enough to become famous which. BUT no matter what opinions we normal folk may have, the next generation of nepo babies are going to rule Hollywood. Let’s look at the roster:

Adonis Mahbed Graham:

This six-year-old blonde, curly headed, bright blue eyed cutie debuted his first single after the drop of Drake’s new album: “For All The Dogs.” After having a small cameo on “Daylight,” Adonis, AGE SIX, released “My Man Freestyle.” Drake honestly could’ve just let him draw the cover of the album… but, Adonis actually recorded the track and released a music video. The concept is wholesome, honestly - it’s just him and his friends playing basketball while he raps - but when we were six, we for sure weren’t making a music video… well, not one that was publicly released. Anyways, no matter what career this young artist chooses, its clear he will have a definite “in.” Let’s face it, rhyming iPad with iPad was kind of genius.

Blue Ivy Carter:

If you have Tik Tok, you’ve probably seen Blue Ivy dancing to “My Power” next to the queen herself. Of course, Beyoncé literally put her bloodline in the spotlight. Blue made her first appearance at the beginning of the Renaissance tour in Paris, where she was first seen dancing in an all silver outfit with her iconic shades. Throughout the months, however, not only did Blue’s look transform, but her confidence skyrocketed. At her last show, she was shade-less and shameless, making the crowd and her momma proud.

North West:

This Tik Tok star has been living her best life posting to her account called @kimandnorth. With over 16.7 million followers, North shows off her makeup, dance, and hairography skills to the whole world. But the comments are turned off and the bio says, “managed by an adult.” Unsurprisingly, this has brought about much controversy and many have questioned Kim’s parenting skills for letting her 10-year-old use an Ice Spice sound. But honestly, we think everyone should let the girl have fun because before you know it, she’s going to be the next queen of Hollywood.
