The White Boys of 2024: Let’s Talk About It

We can all agree that the guiltiest of pleasures is having a good, ripe white boy obsession. Recently, these three white boys have been fighting their ways to the top of everyone’s rosters through movies, shows, and Calvin Klein campaigns. Now if you don’t know who i’m talking about, you must be living under a rock... but don’t worry, I’ll still break it down for you.

Jeremy Allen White first became widely recognized as Lip Gallagher on the series, Shameless; and boy did that young man have zero shame. Everyone fell in love with his no BS, cocky personality, which he carried to the recent awarding winning series, The Bear. From there, the internet went wild once again, when White became a new ambassador with an ad for Calvin Kelin. But that’s not the only half-naked boy we’ll be discussing in this article.

Barry Keoghan has been praised for his work in a lot of blockbuster movies. However, his most recent debut in Saltburn has an entire fanbase realizing and re-questioning their stance on this actor's looks. Keoghan definitely pursued a role, which dropped jaws (and other things), totally putting him in the high-running for White Boy of 2024. The crazed killings sure didn’t stop anyone from editing this man to a plethora of sexual songs.

Last but not least, Jacob Elordi. Elordi has recently come out publicly dissing his star-making role in the Netflix series, The Kissing Booth; but if it wasn’t for taking up the cheesy Noah Flynn, he would have never landed spots in Zendaya’s, Euphoria and alongside Barry in Saltburn. Which would have been a real shame seeing that after the movie, Elordi went on to also being a Calvin Klein ambassador, a host on SNL, and receiving a whopping 7.5 million likes on a Tik Tok edit of him to the song “Never Be Like You” by Flume (we know you know).

Although the three are so vastly different and yet so incredibly similar, it is still hard for us Jerks to decide where we land on the spectrum for our favorite White Boy... so we’ll leave it up to you.
